The BMW E34 525i was sold on June 13th 1990 by BMW dealer Daltons of Hailsham in Sussex, UK registered as G669GNJ. The first owner was 76 years old at that time.
About one year later, the BMW absorbed over 6.300 miles. In 2000, after 10 years, it shows over 75.000 miles. Thereafter it went even slower: 85.000 miles after 14 years in 2004. Then the car was in retirement mode. Until 2011, in 7 years, it drove only 2.500 miles to a total of 87.500 miles.
In early 2012 the BMW E34 Sedan changed owner. He emigrated and exported the car to The Netherlands in September 2012. In June 2013 the E34 was exchanged for a new BMW and resold to a used car centre. The E34 went to sleep there in a shiny showroom for one year, before it was sold again in June 2014. After 3 months the 525i was resold to the previouw owner with 101.500 miles.
Between 1990 and 2007 the car was maintained by BMW dealers Daltons of Hailsham and Chandlers in Brighton and Worthing. Then it went into 'hibernation'. In 2012 the second owner trusted maintenance to a BMW specialist in London.
Since the transfer in August 2014, the BMW E34 525i Sedan was competently maintained by Dutch BMW E30/E34 specialist E30 Parts.
This BMW 525i Sedan is fully in original and outstanding condition. Every detail on the car is present and untouched. The car has the factory options electric windows (all), electric sunroof, leather sports steering wheel and 15 inch cross spoke alloy wheels with 225/60/15 tyres. Only the radio is an after market Sony device with cd-player.
The famous tool kit in the trunk contains every tool, including a business card from BMW dealer Daltons of Hailsham and a brand new leather cover for the central key still in its plastic packaging. Just like the complete and untouched first aid kit.
The beige, easily to be soiled, upholstery is even after more than 104.000 miles in an excellent shape: no spots and no signs of wear, not even on the driver's seat or its armrest. The floor mats are still the ones from the first day of delivery.
The hood and the left front fender were resprayed following on the report of scratches and stone damage, recorded in the 'body inspection after five years'-page in the service booklet, signed on May 16th 1995.
Directly after purchase by the previous owner, the BMW E34 got a precautionary anti rust treatment with transparent fluid wax to protect and maintain its excellent condition.
On April 22nd 2017, this beautiful E34 was transferred to a new owner, a collector and BMW connaisseur in the middle of The Netherlands.
